Description

The baler shear machine is an advanced metal processing solution that combines baling and shearing functions into a single efficient unit. It is engineered to compress, shape, and cut scrap metal—such as steel, pipes, and structural components—into furnace-ready forms.

How Baler Shear Works

1. Loading & Pre-Compression

Scrap is fed into the charge box using a grab or crane. The lid and side press apply vertical and lateral force to pre-compress the material.

2. Secondary Compression

The side pressure cylinder further compresses the scrap longitudinally, increasing density and shaping it for shearing.

3. Cutting & Discharge

The cutting cylinder activates the blade to shear the scrap into preset lengths. The processed material is then ejected from the chamber.

4. Multiple Cutting Modes

  • Full Stroke: For bulky or springy scrap
  • Partial Stroke: For compact, uniform material
  • Relative Stroke: For constant feed types (bars, pipes)
  • Logging Mode: For forming dense bales without cutting
