Description
Radiators are units that are used for cooling for a variety of appliances and machines. In the scrap metal industry, they can be referred to ACRs, aluminum/copper radiators, copper fin, Brass rads, and some other phrases. Radiators allow engines or machines to cool or push cool air by passing the a cooling agent through the unit.
Tens of millions of cars are scrapped around the world every year, so there is a huge amount of used radiators that need to be recycled. The scrap radiator dismantled from cars and air conditioner mainly made by copper, aluminum and iron.Therefore, there is big value to recycle waste radiator and separate copper and aluminum from scrap radiators.
The main usage of our radiator separator machine
The radiator separator machine is a stripping type radiator recycling machine which can recycle scrap radiators that are not deformed. It’s a simple design but high efficient equipment for recycling waste radiators by stripping the aluminum foil from copper tubes, and then get double recycling of both aluminum and copper. This radiator recycling machine could separate whole copper tubes from aluminum coating of waste radiators, also keep aluminum in block pieces, easy to collect and sell.
Usually, one radiator separator machine can process 3 kinds of copper tube with different center distance at most. Most of the scrap radiators in the market are 19mm,21mm, and 25mm. If your scrap radiator has other distances, please let us know. We will customize the machine for you.
Matters needing attention before using radiator peeling machine
- Iron heads of radiators must be cut off the two sides of radiators;
- Radiators must be cut with a band saw according to the width of each Material Inlet;
- Radiators that are more than 2 layers must be cut into one layer and two layers with the band saw;
- Do not feed radiators into wrong Material Inlets (three inlets each are for 19mm,21mm,25mm radiators respective);
- When radiators are fed into Material Inlets correctly, each Feeding Gear at the Material Inlet must be at the middle of each two copper pipes; or copper pipes and aluminum will not be separated.
- Twisted radiators can not be processed.
